Photo collage

"There is only you and your camera. The limitations in your photography are in yourself, for what we see is what we are."~Enrst Hass

When not at the keyboard, I can usually be found with a camera in my hands. I love photography because I see the world differently when looking at it through a lens. Photography allows me to freeze a moment in time and tell a story through images. As a person who spends most of my time doing very mathematical and technical work, photography is the perfect blend of technical and artistic to both engage my brain and give it a bit of a break from its normal functions. Someday I hope to take my camera on a journey of the "roads less traveled," capturing the people and scenery found there.

I served as a Staff Photographer for the Massachusetts Daily Collegian and previously held the Assistant Photo Editor position for 2 years. I covered lectures, breaking news, protests, sports, and any other events of interest that occur on the campus or in the surrounding community. During the last 2 years with the paper, I focused mostly on sports photography covering the Men's and Women's soccer, basketball, and lacrosse teams. See my videos and photographs featured in other publications such as MassLive, NBC Boston, Fox and Metro.

First and only Collegian article: my senior column.
